Enhanced Ef昀椀ciency Through Visual
Positioning
One of the most revolutionary aspects
of Visual Positioning is its ability to
capture images and extract precise coordinates from them. Traditional GNSS
receivers require physical access to measure points, which can be time-consuming and unsafe. With Visual Positioning, surveyors can measure inaccessible
points, reducing 昀椀eld time and increasing productivity.
By simply capturing an image group,
surveyors can measure points from a safe
distance in hazardous terrain, busy roadways, or restricted areas. This capability
also minimizes the need for return visits, as additional points can be extracted
from collected imagery without revisiting the site.
Improved Accuracy and Data Integrity
Visual Positioning-enabled GNSS receivers deliver centimeter-level accuracy
with high-quality RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning. The integration
of an advanced IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) ensures tilt compensation,
allowing accurate measurements without
leveling the pole. This is particularly bene昀椀cial in dense forests, urban settings, or
