Membership Growth Through Connection
Membership growth doesn’t happen by accident. It grows from authentic relationships,
meaningful engagement, and a shared commitment to strengthening our profession. This
year, we’re taking deliberate steps to make every member’s journey with TSPS more
welcoming and more connected.
We are refreshing our onboarding process to ensure new members feel guided, supported,
and plugged into the community from day one. Clearer communication, better resource
pathways, and chapter‐level touchpoints will help new professionals immediately
understand the value of belonging to TSPS.
At the same time, we’re enhancing our messaging—both internally and externally—so
members have the information they need, when they need it. Whether it’s updates from the
Society, opportunities for involvement, or professional development offerings, our goal is to
keep communication timely, relevant, and member‐focused.
Perhaps most importantly, we are empowering current members to play an active role in
growing the Society. When seasoned professionals invite colleagues to join, mentor
early‐career surveyors, or introduce someone to a chapter meeting, those personal
connections become powerful catalysts for membership growth. By equipping members
with better tools and clearer talking points, we are strengthening the network that keeps
TSPS thriving.
The Year Ahead
Between digital improvements, stronger development offerings, and chapter innovation,
2026 is a year of revitalization for TSPS. Your ideas and passion fuel everything we do.
